Box Score WICHITA - The Jets were held to a goalless draw against Colorado Christian on Thursday, as tempers flared on both sides. 

Newman was coming off a hattrick performance from Carlos Bellosta Manchon last weekend, but neither side could find the back of the net after 90 minutes. Yellow and red cards however were flown. 

The game began very physical from the kickoff, with neither side ever coming close to breaking through. 

Head Coach Victor Domingues was one of many who received a card tonight, coming right at the the conclusion of the first half. Cougars Coach Brad Camp also received a yellow card in the second half. 

With emotions high on both sidelines, a player from each side was sent off. 

Juan Carlos Cordova, who had started in goal in all three games this season, was sent off in the second half after denying a goal scoring opportunity from outside the keepers box. Micaiah Mann came on for the remainder of the match, helping the Jets keep a clean sheet, their first of the season. 

CCU later had a player sent off, with forward Gabe Roloff receiving his second yellow card of the match. 

In total, fourteen cards were handed out, with each team having six yellow cards and one red card. 

With the draw, the Jets move to 1-1-1 on the season. 

The Jets will be on the road for the next three matches, traveling to Quincy and Southwest Baptist, before heading to Fort Hays State to begin the conference slate.
