Last Time Out 
Newman traveled to Hays, Kan. on Thursday, October 17th to face the Fort Hays State Tigers for their only game last week. The Jets, who were coming back from a win and a loss in Arkansas, played a very positive and dominant first half, scoring a goal off of a long shot and holding the Tigers down to zero shots. In the second half, Fort Hays turned the game around in 12 minutes scoring multiple goals and taking a final 4-1 score. 

Scouting the Jets
The Jets accumulate 6 wins and 6 losses overall this season. In conference, they have won 3 and lost 3, tying the amount of conference wins recorded last season. With six games left and currently sitting in fourth place, Men's Soccer is looking for their first GAC post season appearance. Alberto Romano leads the Jets and the conference in shots and shots on goal per game. Romano also tallies 8 goals and 1 assist. Nicolo Lai has provided the most assists for the Jets, with 5 passes to goal. 

Behind Enemy Lines
The Ouachita Baptist Tigers have won 3 games overall this season, including one in conference. In the last 3 games they have managed to get four points off of a win and a tie. The Tigers tied Northeastern State 0-0 at home their last time out. Alexis Murillo is the leader in the Tigers offense. He tallies five goals. 

Harding currently stands at the bottom of the conference table. They have only been able to claim one win this year and hold a 1-9-3 overall record. The Bisons recorded their first win of the season last week in a 1-0 match against in-state rivals Ouachita Baptist. 

The Series
The Jets hold a 4-4-2 record against the Tigers. In the last 4 games, Newman has won one, tied two and lost one. The last time they met was October 12th, when the Tigers took a 1-0 win. 

Against Harding, the Jets accumulate a 3-5-2 record. The last three times they've met, Newman has won two games and lost one. Their last matchup was on October 10th. The Jets dominated the Bisons to a 3-1 final score. 

Next Up
The Jets will go on the road next week to face Rogers State and Northeastern State on Thursday and Saturday.
