Last Time Out
The Jets kicked off the 2024-25 season at the Arkansas Tech Classic. Their first match up was against the Bulldogs of Southwestern Oklahoma State. Boston Stanton III led the Jets with 15 points and Sam Somerhalder added 13 points to lead the Jets to an 80-64 win. The Jets then faced No. 24 ranked Arkansas Tech. The Wonder Boys took the game, 95-64. 
 
Scouting the Jets 
- Through two games, Stanton III leads the Jets offense with 22 total points, shooting over 50% from the field and 38% from the three.
- Sam Somerhalder and Thatcher McClure have both added 15 total points through the first two games. McClure has also grabbed nine rebounds through the first two games. 
-The Jets team has started off with hot shooting, making 49.5% of their field goals and shooting 37% from three. 
 
Behind Enemy Lines
- Tabor has started the season off with two losses, one against Central Christian and another against Northwestern College. In the loss to the Tigers, Kalep Crane led the way with 16 points while adding 7 rebounds. Niieihii Blackbear recorded a double double in the game with 12 points and 13 rebounds. In the Bluejays loss to Northwestern, Crane led with 21 points and four rebounds. Through two games, the Bluejays are shooting 35.4% from the field and just 26% from the three. 
 
- Kansas Christian has started off the season with an 0-4 record. The Falcons are shooting 41.5% from the field and 28% from the three as a team. James Lewis is leading the way with 17.5 points per game through just two games played. Isaac Lane has brought in 14.5 points per game through four games played shooting 57.9% from the field. 

- Barclay is an NCCAA college that plays in the Midwest Collegiate Conference. The Bears have a full squad of 15 players, with just one senior and two juniors. The Bears have taken on some tough competition throughout the first month of play. They have matched up with John Brown, Sterling, Bethany and are set to play Northwestern Oklahoma State, and Wayne State before traveling to match up with the Jets. 

- Oklahoma Baptist is 1-1 through two games played. The Bison won against Minnesota Crookston at 82-71. In the win against Crookston, Terry Coner Jr. led the way with 19 points off 5-12 shooting and going 9-10 from the free throw line. In their loss to Minnesota Duluth, Terry Coner Jr. led the Bison again with 12 points and three rebounds. The Bison will play Arlington Baptist University before heading to play the Jets. 
 
The Series
 - Since joining NCAA DII have held a 6-0 record against the Bluejays. 
- The Jets matched up with Kansas Christian three times, where the Jets have taken all three games.  Last season, the Jets beat the Falcons 86-71. 
- The Jets have met up with Barclay one time in 2023-24. The Jets cruised past the Bears at 108-63.
- The Jets and Bison will face off for the first time. 
 
Next Up
The Jets will start conference play on December 5th against Northeastern State, then will travel to Arkansas-Fort Smith on December 7th.
