Last Time Out
The Jets' traveled to Warrensburg and Emporia for their weekend matchups. The Jets dropped both games to the Jennies, winning Game One 8-0 in a run rule shortened game. Kinyon DeCorte got the start in the circle for the Jets, going 4.2 innings allowing six runs. Lydia Weldon and Maddie Rae Romo both appeared out of the bullpen. Hayley Bonython recorded the Jets lone hit in the first game. Game Two was more of the same, with the Jennies taking game two, 9-2. Bonython and Lani Dryden both recorded RBI's in the fifth inning to end the scoreless streak. Paola Zamacona and Katelyn Westover both appeared for the Jets in the circle.

On Saturday the Jets traveled to Emporia to face off with the Hornets, eventually dropping both games. Game one saw Katelyn Westover take the ball for the Jets, pitching the whole game. Bonython hit a home run in the first inning to get the Jets out to an early 2-0 lead. Both teams were held scoreless until the bottom of the third when the Hornets scored five runs in what would decide the game. The Hornets went on to take the first game, 12-4.  Kinyon DeCorte started game two for the Jets, going three innings allowing four earned runs before being relieved by Zamacona who went three scoreless innings out of the bullpen. Reghann Fairbairn homered in the fifth inning to cut the Hornets lead down to three. 

Scouting the Jets
Coming into the series, AJ Borja holds a .344 batting average, with a team high 14 doubles, three triples  and a .494 on-base percentage. Reghann Fairbairn enters the weekend hitting .284, posting a .429 on-base percentage of her own. Lauren McNaught and Lani Dryden are other names to know in the Jets lineup with McNaught hitting .279 in conference and Dryden hitting .277. Gianna Navarro is hitting .282 while leading the team with 22 RBIs.  The Jets pitching staff posts a 7.54 ERA coming into the matchup. Paola Zamacona leads the staff with a 6.10 ERA in 86 innings of work, posting a 6.28 in-conference mark. Maddie Rae Romo leads the team with 38 strikeouts over 45 innings. Zoe Fulks, Katelyn Westover, Lydia Weldon, and Kinyon DeCorte are the other key contributors to the pitching staff. The Jets will celebrate seniors: Hayley Bonython, Gianna Navarro, Madison Canez, Tori Waggoner, Paola Zamacona, Zoe Fulks, Kayla Lopez and Rylee Gresham.

Behind Enemy Lines
The Bronchos enter the weekend at 41-8 and ranked fifth in the Country.  As a team the Bronchos have a .331 batting average. Terin Reitz leads the offensive attack, leading in every major category. Reitz is hitting .420 with 15 home runs and 61 RBIs. Rylee Lemos owns a .390 batting average with 10 home runs of her own. The Bronchos have four other batters who are hitting at least .324. As a team, Central Oklahoma has blasted 45 home runs on the season. In the circle for the Bronchos, Ritz leads the Bronchos in all major categories as well. In 110 innings of work she has a 1.90 ERA with 85 strikeouts. Shelby Beard and Sydney Ward get the other majority of the workload. Beard has a 2.18 ERA in  70 innings and Ward a 2.61 ERA in 80 innings. As a whole, the Bronchos pitching staff boasts a 2.25 ERA with opponents hitting .240 against them.
