KANSAS CITY, Mo.- The MIAA released its 2026 All-MIAA Baseball teams and postseason awards. Nicolas Ely earned Third Team All-MAA. Kaynan Kaku earned All-MIAA Honorable Mention.

Nicolas Ely started and played in 47 games for the Jets. He recorded a batting average of .345 through 174 at bats. Ely tallied 60 hits, 27 RBIs, 12 doubles, two triples, and six home runs this season. Ely led the teams in runs scored with 38, total bases (94), and slugging percentage (.540). His OPS was .940. Ely also tallied 11 stolen bases on the year. In the field, Ely totaled 38 put outs with 53 assists. In the MIAA Ely was 25th in batting average. Ely tallied his season high hits in one game with four against Northwest Missouri. 

Kaynan Kaku played and started 50 games for the Jets this season. He led the team in batting average with a .377 on 175 at bats. In the MIAA, Kaku finished 12th in batting average. Kaku also led the team in OPS with .983, games played (50), hits (66), and 32 total RBIs. Kaku also scored 35 times, six home runs, and ten doubles this season for the Jets offense. In the field, Kaku recorded 97 putouts with three assists for .962 fielding percentage. Kaku recorded his season high four hits against Central Oklahoma on April 10th. Against Rogers State, Kaku tallied three doubles in one contest, his season high and team high in one game. Kaku also recorded four RBIs in one game, tying a team high for the season.
