WICHITA – The Newman Softball team changed its weekend plans. The Teri Mathis-Zenner Memorial Tournament, hosted by Southern Missouri, has been canceled due to winter weather in Joplin, Mo so the Lady Jets will travel to Oklahoma City and Central Oklahoma for games this weekend.
 
The Lady Jets play Saturday (March 2) in Oklahoma City at Ann Lacy Stadium. NU starts with an 11 a.m. game against host OCU. Newman then takes on Missouri Southern in a doubleheader at 3 p.m.
 
A twinbill against Central Oklahoma is scheduled for Sunday (March 3) with game one set to start at 1 p.m. in Edmond, Okla. at the Broncho Softball Field. Game two will start at 3 p.m.
