After allowing five runs in the first two innings, the Lady Jets plated both of their runs in the third inning. A lead-off homer from Makenzie Flaska, her second of the season, put the Lady Jets on the scoreboard and made it 5-1. The Falcons pulled away with three runs in the fifth inning for the final 8-2 score.

UTPB 8, NU 0

Two big innings in game two pushed the Falcons to an 8-0 victory. UTPB did all their scoring in the second and fifth innings to take the win.

With the bases loaded, a sac fly scored the first Falcon run, and a two-RBI double brought home two more runs for a 3-0 UTPB lead in the second inning.

UTPB added five more runs in the fifth, all unearned, to go up 8-0. A double scored the first two runs of the inning, and a single up the middle brought home two more runs later in the inning. The final run of the inning scored on a Lady Jet error.

In game two, Lacey Cowan went 2-for-2 to lead the Lady Jet offense.
