Jets Open Up Home Conference Slate Against LCU

WICHITA, Kan. — Two weeks after starting its Heartland Conference season on the road, the Newman softball team hosts Lubbock Christian for a three-game set at Newman Softball Field Friday and Saturday in its first league games at home this season.

SCOUTING NEWMAN

The Jets (7-25, 1-2 Heartland) haven't faced a league foe for two weeks, as they started conference play with three competitive games against Texas A&M International earlier this month. More recently, they split a pair of nonconference doubleheaders against Emporia State and Southern Nazarene.
