Men’s and Women’s Cross Country compete at the Bradley Pink Classic

Men finished 8th, Women finished 9th

Peoria, Ill.-  The Jets traveled to Illinois to compete at the Bradley Pink Classic. The Jets ran in the "White Race" which included teams such as: Northwestern, Kentucky, Bradley, Loyola (Ill.), Missouri State, Illinois-Springfield, and more talented squads.
 
Men's Cross Country:
The men's team placed 8th overall with 233 points. Jake Beauchamp led the Jets with an 8th place finish with a time of 25.16.4. Beauchamp finished behind all Division I runners. Asher Brown was the next Jet to cross the finish line in 15th place. Brown took the 15th spot with a time of 25.41.5. Logan Libel was the next Jet finish with a time of 27.10.1 which earned him 79th place. Paul Sevart earned 111th place with a time of 28.12.7. Josias Chavez Ramirez was only seconds behind placing 112th with a 28.15.6.

Women's Cross Country:
The Women's team placed 9th overall with 246 total points. Alexa Ornelas finished first for the Jets team with a time of 23.01.23 to snag 30th place. Nayelly Rosales was the second Jet across the finish line with a time of 23.23.80 to take 45th place. Britton Kelly finished at 106th place with a 25.16.06. Next across the line for the team was Laura Davis bringing in a time of 26.23.90 for 126th place. Isabella Torres was only 14 seconds behind Davis to secure 129th place.
