STILLWATER, Okla.- Men's and Women's Cross Country traveled to Oklahoma State for the 2024 Cowboy Jamboree. The Jets raced alongside numerous top 25 NCAA Division I teams.
Men's Cross Country: 8K
Newman men placed 14th as a team at the Cowboy Jamboree. Jake Beauchamp was the first Jet across the line in the 8K with a 26:00.7. Asher Brown was the seconds off of Beauchamp's pace crossing the line at 26:17.5. Beauchamp, Brown, Logan libel, Paul Sevart, Josias Chavez Ramirez and Jair Martinez-Delgado all improved upon their 8k times from just one week ago in St. Louis.

The women's team took 13th place in a stacked field. Alexa Ornelas and Nayelley Rosales paced the Jets squad with a 24:19.9 and 24:28.1 respectively. It was the team's first 6K race of the season.
