WICHITA – The Newman baseball team starts its Fall World Series today (Oct. 15) with game one of a five-game series. All five games will take play at McCarthy Field on the campus of Newman University.
Game one starts today (Oct. 15) at 3:45 p.m. The second game of the series is scheduled for tomorrow (Oct. 16) also at 3:45 p.m.
After tomorrow's game there is a six-day break, and the series resumes on Wednesday, Oct. 22 at 3:45 p.m. Game four will be on Thursday (Oct. 23) at 3:45 p.m. and the finale, game five, takes place on Friday (Oct. 24) at 3:45 p.m.
The teams are coached by student assistants
John Branum and
Ricky Sanchez. Umpires are
Dylan Monroe, head coach
Zane Ehling and assistant coach
Max Hutson. Monroe wil be behind the plate for game one today.
