Box Score OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – The Newman women's soccer team couldn't generate much offense at Oklahoma Christian, falling 2-0 on Monday night (Oct. 28) at Eagle Soccer Field. The Lady Jets dropped to 6-8 and 3-4 in the Heartland Conference.
 
The Eagles tallied both of their goals early in the first half. OC scored its first goal in the 17th minute as the Eagles tapped in a free kick from 45 yards. The advantage doubled to 2-0 in the 22nd minute. The Eagles led 2-0 for the rest of the game.
 
The Lady Jets held a slight advantage in shots at 14-12. OC had seven shots on goal compared to six for NU. Mei-Mei Senthavy and Blair Terry each totaled three shots, including two on goal.
 
Haley Borchers went 90 minutes in goal for the Lady Jets, making five saves and allowing two goals.
 
NU plays its home finale on Wednesday (Oct. 30) in a non-conference game against Southwest Baptist at 7 p.m. at Wilkins Field.
