Newman's 86-71 victory over OC in December pushed its winning streak to five straight over the Eagles, while the Jets lead the series 7-2 since moving to Division II.
With their impressive 108-98 win over the Hilltoppers last month, the Jets have won two straight in the series, which SEU leads 11-8 overall.
NOTES
-After this roadtrip, the Jets play five of their final eight games at home, starting with three in six days next week.
-Daniel Nwosu put up a career-high 32 points Saturday against St. Mary's, keeping up his recent hot streak. The senior is averaging 24.5 points per game over his last six outings, and his 18.4 season average leads the Heartland.
-Despite its seven-game skid, the Eagles have not been giving up easy wins. Five of those seven were decided by six or fewer points, and three were by one possession.
-The Hilltoppers cause plenty of disruption, coming in at fifth in the country with a turnover margin of plus-5.7 per game. Five players have at least 20 steals on the season, including Sean Watkins, who leads the conference with 1.73 per game.
